This surprising fact is one of our favorites. While you might think it's a costume or a trick of the light, these facial whiskers are completely authentic. Just like us, horses have unique features, and for some breeds, that includes a fabulous 'stache.
Which Horses Grow Mustaches?
While you won’t see every horse rocking a mustache, they are most common in specific breeds:
Gypsy Vanners: Often called the "Irish Cob" or "Tinker Horse," these are the most famous mustache-wearers.
Shire Horses: These gentle giants can also have impressive whiskers.
